GAMEDAY 29: “HOW BOUT THEM STARBOYS”

The Pittsburgh Penguins are on a 5 game win streak. That felt REALLY good to type. WE are currently tied with Carolina for 2nd place in the Metro. That felt pretty good to type as well. The Canes are off tonight so with a only a single point we will be in full possession of 2nd place. It’s aboot damn time, eh!

Since November 17th the Pens are 10-2, bookending two losses with two 5 game win streaks. I’d take that production every month for the rest of the regular season. The Pens will have their work cut out for them tonight however.

This 2022-23 Dullass team is anything butt. They’ve got 6 players with 20 or more points. They’re led by Jason Robertson who’s 3rd in the league in points and 2nd in the league in golas. They’re backstopped by Jake Oettinger who’s off to another great year with 11 wins, a 2.52 GA and a .915 S%.

WE’re overdue for some breakout scoring support action. I’m looking for BIG 2nd line contributions in tonights matchup. Rusty, Zuker and Geno are gonna have to do some serious sharp-shooting…
