The next winning streak began last night in PGH with a solid 4-2 defeat of the Arizona Desert Mutz. The Pens also broke through with 2 power play goals after 36 unsuccessful tries, in a row. And thank the hawkey gawds that HCMS finally heard our telepathic calls for “BIG DIK N R G” in front of the net. Honest ta gawd it took them long enough. WE’ve all been saying it for the past 6 weeks.

Big JC also had a shorthanded breakaway gola… WUT? Yes Virginia, there is a Santa Clause. Seemed like everybuddy showed up last night and played a full 60 minutes of focused hockey. I would love to say that all of this team’s “issues” of late are now behind them, but lets not get crazy here. Let’s see if they can duplicate their effort in Montreal tonight.

The players dads brought us some great mojo last night and hopefully they can bring it again tonight. Nick Suzuki and our old friend Mike Matheson are two Habs to watch out for tonight. However they aren’t a huge threat in the league right now and if the same Penguin team shows up tonight we should be able to get the same result and put another 2 poins in the bank.
