Danton Heinen. 1st Star of the game against Comeblowus. You really can’t make this shit up. He does NOTHING the entire time he’s in PGH and of course he has a career game against us the very 1st time WE play him, while with the BJ’s. Heinen put Columbus in front 3-2 at 17:38. He deflected a point shot from, …wait for it… Gudbranson, for his first goal in eight games since being acquired in a trade that sent Chinakhov to us on Dec. 29.
Crosby scored the game-tying goal in the third period for the 108th time of his career, JAGR (107) for the third-most in League history behind Gretzky (135) and Messier (112).
In the losing effort Silovs made 22 saves, and Rakell and Clifton scored for us butt-stalling our W/L record at 22-14-11. WE’ve lost four of our last five (1-2-2) and WE’re clinging onto 3rd place in the Metro by a RCH just ahead of the Craps who are only 1 point behind us. WE are 4-11 when a game reaches overtime and 1-7 when it gets to a shootout.
MUSE… WORK THIS OT / SHOOT OUT SHIT OUT… WHAT ARE WE PAYING YOU FOR?

Happy MLK Day erreyone! To celebrate, today at 5PM WE face off with the Kraken, who are basically in the same situation as WE are. Barely hanging onto 3rd place by a RCH and have lost 5 of their last 6 (1-4-1). Once again WE face a team with ZERO 20 goal skoarers. Eberly has 17 but their next closest gola skoarer, Stephenson, has only 13. Our ‘old boi’ Jared McCann… ‘can’t‘ this season, with only 10 golas and a total of 19 points. Can WE please just bury this team and put them out of our misery?
DO IT FOR MARTIN!
Author’s Note: MLK was widely known to have STRONGLY DISLIKED calamari.
