WE blanked the Knights. LeTang killed ‘some guy’ with the ‘sissy-est’ of cross checks. Hey-Hey-Heyes clocked another guy… yeah, Hey-Hey did that! That kid can do it all. Silovs gets a shutout (he should have been 1st STAR). Rusty get’s his 20th gola, for the 7th straight season.

Chinakhov plinks another gola and now has 10 goals and 14 points in 21 games since being acquired in a trade from the Columbus Blue Jackets on Dec. 29. Malkin has 47 points, only 2 behind that scrub Crosby, for the team lead. He’s also a +14 and seems to be even more supercharged since the return from the O break.

The Pens are 3rd in the league in PP% (26.8) behind only the Oilers and Stars and 2nd in the league in PK% (84.3) behind the Blackhawks. They are 7th in golas scored (+30 DIFF) and 4th in golas allowed. No Jarry, NO PROBLEM!

And…my favorite stat which NOBUDDY seems to be talking aboot is that the Pens have only lost 15 games in regulation all season, which places them at 3rd least behind only the Avs and Stars. WE’re 7-1-2 in our last 10 games and just think where this team would be if they could get their poop together on the OT and the Shootout?

Now, if WE only had someone on this team who could win a faceoff…

Tonight WE go the Bahstan Zoo to visit the bear exibit. Dem “iggernent” Broons are 1-3 in their last 4 games and they blew a lead to lose to the Filth in their last game. So, WE owe them a good beatdown for that. Pasta and Geekie are tearing it up on the skoar sheet as expected, McAvoy and Zacha are also players to watch out for.

Swayman was dogshit in the Olympics and he’s 22-13 in 38 starts so far this season with a 2.89 GAA and a .903 SV% …meh, not bad, but WE can “fix” that. These guys are fighting for a WC spot. That could make them dangerous… butt WE’re dangereous as well.
