Hooooo-boy WE SUCK. Coach called Saturday’s Rangers whippng a “HUMBLING EXPERIENCE” for erreyone. I didn’t get to watch the game so I can’t say for sure… but knowing the score, and the importance of all the games left on our schedule… I’d have to agree. This team is officially awful.

Tonight we host the Ottawa Senators. The Sens are not performing well either so maybe we could pick up these 2 points. Because don’t look now but the Florida Panthers are one point behind us for the 2nd Wild Card spot and they’ve won 5 of their last 7. They also play Detroit and Philly tonight and tomorrow. If we can’t beat Ottawa tonight, by Tuesday night we could easily be 3 points out of the final WC spot, with our next 3 games agains Colorado, Dallas and Washington.

This is some serious hockey hell hole we dug for ourselves and it’s going to take a massive effort to climb out of it. With all the injuries we’ve had over the last 2 weeks and with the way Jarry’s been playing since returning from his injury… I’m not liking our chances. But like they say… It ain’t over till UNG’s Mum sings.
