A big comeback win against the Craps on Wednesday kept us from losing two in a row after being up 3-0 in both of our last two games. Injuries are starting to pile up. McGroarty, St. Ivany, Rakell, Brazeau, Acciari and now Jarry and Hallander are all currently on IR for weeks to come in most cases. The Pens are off to a great 2025-26 start but now we’ll get to see how deep they are and if they can continue with their early season success.

SATURDAY:

The Devils are the first team to 10 wins this season, with a perfect home record of 6-0-0 at the Prudential Center. Their strong start has been led by Jack Hughes, who has 10 goals and 18 points, and Jesper Bratt, who has contributed 10 assists and 15 points. They are a very good, fast team and the Pens are historically VERY ‘meh’ in afternoon games. This game will be our biggest test of the new season.

SUNDAY:

The Kings have not started the 2025-26 season well. They have a losing record and are on pace for a very low point total that would likely see them miss the playoffs. They are struggling with scoring, a poor penalty kill, and inconsistency, despite having a strong roster. WE need to beat this team.
