The hockey world has lost a major gem in the crown of sportscasting. This is how I will always remember him (I’m old) … in those early years sitting up at the top of the Igloo and dazzling everyone with his knowledge of the game, his legendary game calling and most of all those catch phrases. Simply, the best!

So, PENS hockey. This team will never make the playoffs. It’s time to face facts. We got almost nuthin’. ‘Mark it dahn’… OVI is going to pass Gretzky’s goal record tonight. Final score: Wash 17, Pens 16. Cause you know how good WE are in one gola games, eh?

Saturday WE get the Rags again. WE beat them 3-2 at MSG right before the break. I sort-a-don’t feel that same vibe this time. I hope I’m wrong because this game is prawlly the only one WE have a chance at winning this weekend. I’m soooory to be such a ‘Debbie Downer’ (I liked the SNL 50 Special btw 😉 but the Pens are currently the 25th placed team in this 32 team league.

Oh… wait. I almost forgot to mention that the USA “lost” a hockey match to Sid’s Canada the other day.
