Your Pittsburgh Penguins have played 6 consecutive OT games in a row. The NHL record for consecutive OT games is seven, established by the Edmonton Oilers during the 2003-04 season and set again by the Toronto Maple Leafs in 2008-09. So, tonight could be a league record tying game for the Black & Gold.
Our old pal Nick Bonino Bonino Boninooooooooooooooooooooo is back in town tonight. What a great memory of HBK we all have. Just ask her….
It’s “hard” to “get up” for writing about a team like the Sharks. I just hope the Pens can “finish” the first half of the season with a “happy ending.” Karlsson, Coture and Meier are having decent seasons but after that it’s pretty sparse. They’ve only been able to outscore opponents 14 times in 50 tries. WE need to win in regulation time tonight.
