So here we are, half-way through the preseason. This game was actually more entertaining than I anticipated, though I still think Bingo was the better option. Sullivan’s system is clearly ingrained into this team, as there were several instances of great offensive zone cycling that resulted in great possession time as well as aggressive fore-checking resulting in turnovers as Chicago tried to exit the zone. Kevin Porter looks to continue to make his claim to the starting lineup, he has had a solid camp so far and is probably a likely candidate to replace Rust in the lineup as of now (more on that below), but the staff has really liked what they have seen from Dominik Simon.
