The five members of the 2026 gold-medal-winning U.S. men’s Olympic hockey team who did not attend the White House visit with President Trump are Kyle Connor (Winnipeg Jets), Jake Guentzel (Tampa Bay Lightning), Jackson LaCombe (Anaheim Ducks), Brock Nelson (Colorado Avalanche), and Jake Oettinger (Dallas Stars). ICE has been notified. Trump chose to serve the ones who will remain in this country an assortment of McDonalds “favorites.” Classy.

The real news is that Sid will miss at least 4 weeks due to the knee injury he recieved as a result of the hit by “NHL Patron Saint of Good Hockey Plays” Radko Gudas. After hitting Sid along the boards and catching him in a awkward position, Gudas then proceeded to fall on Sid, pinning him under his full weight, and on his forcibly bent knee. Can anybuddy say TARGET… unfortunately WE won’t be playing the Ducks for the rest of the regular season. Sumbuddy needs to END that x-filthy fecker.

Tonight WE host the newly minted Team USA Golden Arches Medalist Jack Hughes. Big-fekin-Mac whoop. I hope Clifton has a chance to knock out a few more of his chicklets. Fek dat McNugget eatin’ guy!

The Pens will also debut their newest menu addition, Defenceman Sam Girard. “Fish” Sammy (soooory, last one. I could never resist the Fish Sammy) along with yet another 2nd round draft pick, was aquired from Colorado in return for D-man Brett Kulak on Tuesday. Nice goin’ Dubas. You da Burger King!

Sam cost a lil bit more than Kulak did but I think Dubas knows how to pick ’em and based on that assumption, I also think that Sam is gonna have a great resurgance in his career here on PGH’s blueline. I sure hope so because he’s being paired with LeTang, as was Kulak, who was doing a fairly good job of erasing LeBooBoos. Time will tell.
WE are facing the toughest Strength of Schedule in the NHL for the remaining 30 games of the regular season. Thanks Buttman. Without a healthy Sid, what looked to be somewhat possible, now looks much less. Maybe the Pens should go back into tank mode? I don’t think Muse will be ‘accomplis’ to that. I also think that when Sid’s knee blew out it took with it any strong chance of attaining a playoff spot. I hope like hell I’m wrong and Sid comes blazing back in late March or early April to lead us back to the promised land. My only other question is… Who’s leading this team on the ice now?
