Gameday 10: See, What Had Happened Was …

I’ve been away for the last few games, enjoying myself. I checked the scores for the last few games, WTF?

L – 6-3 Oliers

L – 4-1 Flames

L – 5-1 Canucks

L – 3-1 Kracken. The Muth-fuckin Kracken.

Who put ‘stupid’ juice in the Gator-aid? Did Sully get a concussion? Did we sign a one-legged defender? Did Sidney Crosby murder Evgeni Malkin?

Tonight the Penguins finally return home to play against the Boston Care-bears. Boston is 8-1, compared to the wobble Penguins, who are 4-4. Today is November 1st … so hopefully the slaughter will stop. Jason will return back to the Great Lakes, and Freddie will let the team wake up.

The line up might change, as Jeff Carter was not at practice today.

Coach Mike Sullivan said: “Letang was sick. Carter is still being evaluated for a lower-body injury. Teddy Blueger was a full participant in practice. However, he will remain on LTIR until Nov. 5.”

Boston is coming off back-to-back wins Thursday and Friday against the Detroit Red Wings and Columbus Blue Jackets. They have done well in managing their personel changes, as Brad Marchand had hip surgery during the off-season, and just recently started playing. Defenseman Charlie McAvoy also had off-season shoulder surgery. Recently, David Krejci left Thursday’s game with an upper-body injury and Jake DeBrusk stepped on up to take his place. This year, the Bruins have scoring depth, with 15th different Bruin on the board. They also have strength between the pipes, with Linus Ullmark (6-0) getting off to a great start.

November: let your bush grow and let the pucks fly. Lets get SIX.
