There’s not a whole lot to say here that wasn’t the case a few days ago when the Pittsburgh Penguins and Carolina Hurricanes last played. Pittsburgh beat the New York Rangers 3-2 on Tuesday with the help of a couple power-play goals, one from each unit, which is a welcome treat given the struggles of the entire group earlier in the season. The same night, with a 4-1 win over the New Jersey Devils, Carolina leapt over New Jersey into first place in the division and extended its winning streak to five, and they now have 21 points out of 22 in their last eleven games.
No lineup, too bad. Y’all are lucky I made a Gameday header, and it’s a pretty shitty one at that. Enjoy the game and your holiday!
